Motherwell will face Austrian Second Division side SK Vorwarts Steyr on their pre-season trip to Austria.
The Steelmen will play the match at the BSFZ Obertraun complex in Austria on Friday July 8 at 4:30 p.m. It has been used in the past by clubs such as AS Roma, Manchester United and Everton.
Motherwell are spending a week in Austria, July 3-10, in preparation for their Conference League qualification and the next Premiership season.
It is the first time the Fir Park club have been able to attend a summer camp for three years, due to the Covid outbreak, and will be familiar as the club also used the facilities in 2007 and 2008.
Boss Graham Alexander told the club’s website: “Obertraun is a brilliant football camp, which I’m used to.
“I’ve been lucky enough to go there many times, both as a player and as a coach, and I think it’s the perfect base for a team.
“It’s remote, there are no distractions, but everything you need to prepare for a full season. The only focus is fitness, football and team spirit.”
